AMD wanted to launch a short and sharp campaign to drive resellers to purchase the products together. The mechanics of this promotion were when you purchased an AMD processor in the Dual Core range, and a Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, you would be rewarded, and sent a 1GB USB memory stick.
